Your Community and Business Association (CBA) meets every 2nd Thursday of the month from February to October. Make it your regular night to meet your neighbours. Interesting and varied programme. Open to all.

Kevin and Christine Seymour, Harcourts Port Realty, with What's Happening in the Property and Rental Market. Every owner and renter will want to know the latest update on this always relevant topic.

Nicole Terrill, Manager of the Golf Club, will share Features and Services of the Golf Club you may or may not know.

David Medricky, Menzshed, will share their story and their latest projects within the community.

Alan Cole, our Local Board representative has an update on Council and Franklin local Board events.

CBA Business Spot: From now on, each month at least one business member will share 10-15 minutes on something of interest or value for our members.

For July we’ll be hearing from Travel Advisor Jolanda Odermatt. Most of us will know of someone who’s had to travel whilst dealing with a complicated health issue. It could be temporary and obvious, like a leg in plaster, or a permanent and sometimes invisible condition. Jolanda specialises in this area. She will share Travel Tips for Those with Hidden or Obvious Disabilities.

The meeting is interactive and plenth of time for questions.

We look forward to seeing you on the 10th, 6.30 for a 7pm start. The bar will be open before the meeting.

Wow! The community clearly wants a community garden!

Local CBA member, Greg Dreyer of Luijten Landscaping and his head designer, Zlatko Zivlak, inspired a packed room of 55 people with their stunning concept for the proposed community garden hub, which we want to locate on the site of the old skate park on Stevenson Road, Clarks Beach.

We’ve also had ‘yes’ votes from close to another 40+ people who couldn’t get to the meeting. With this resounding support, the next step is to get Land Owner Approval from the Council.

Luitjen’s donation of this specially designed plan is yet another example of the incredible generosity we regularly experience in this community. Thank you, Greg and Zlatko.
