Clarks Beach and Waiau Pa Community and Business Upcoming Events

It’s that time of the year when local MP Andrew Bayly starts holding his popular Pizza and Politics evenings around the electorate, and the first event will be at the Clarks Beach Bowling Club on Friday 16 May.

Andrew says his Pizza and Politics evenings are a great way for him to connect with constituents and to receive feedback first-hand about Government issues that are affecting them.

“Some people are happy to come along and just listen, others can be quite vocal,” Andrew says. “My electorate office staff attend too, and they’re available to speak to people who might want to arrange an appointment to discuss a personal issue at a later date.”

The evenings can get quite lively and are usually a lot of fun, with an open mic. “They’re also a wonderful opportunity for new residents of the area to meet their MP in a relaxed and friendly environment,” Andrew says.

Everyone is welcome, but you do need to RSVP so that the team bring enough pizzas. The Bowling Club’s bar will also be open. “We provide the pizza and hot drinks, you bring the questions,” Andrew says.

“I do hope Clarks Beach residents and those from neighbouring communities will join me on Friday 16 May from 6.30pm.”
